Now you can pull the plastic door panel away from the frame and set it aside in a safe place. Pop plastic cover off. Remove torx screw repeat with other areas. Pry off the inner door handle cover with a small flat blade.

Remove mirror cover and disconnect wiring harness. Starting at the rearward upper portion of the door panel pull the panel away from the door to dislodge the clip. This is done so that you can access all of your follow me on ig. Considerable skill and care are needed when undoing the many clips that hold the panels on.

Use the 7mm socket to remove the eight perimeter screws located around the edge of your mustang door panel. Lift the metal cylinder at the end of the cable out of the socket. Hold the door handle open and carefully use a small angled pick to pull the piece toward you. Remove the mirror hole covers but pulling them away from the door and disconnect the mirror switch.

Swing the cable out and away from the door panel. Remove 4 torx t15 screws. The easiest way is to start from the bottom up. Loosen and remove the 10mm bolt.
